There are several books on how to clean your house painlessly. Good Housekeeping has one, there is a really good one called Simple Clean, it outlines how to clean and organize so you can clean in minutes a day.
Save your money unless you are planning to give a book to someone. There are a million free tips on the internet. I will start you off with a few links. For the future, do a search online with the words : "Whole House Cleaning Tips" or "Entire House Cleaning Tips". Find the links you have the most interest in and save them to your favorites on your computer for future look ups.

Another option would be to just print checklists - Internet is chock full of checklists for every season as well as quarterly, semi annual and annual chores to be performed.

I have gone to flea markets and found the old hard back Readers Digest books on how to do just about anything.
