Use spit or a dab of silicon
Some bar soap on the screw threads or kitchen oil does the trick when you don't have other options. Clean the rust from the screw threads before put the but back (with a little oil and a paper towel.)
Or clean it with WD 40.
Try turning it or just beat it on with a large hammer, I hope that helps.
