What is the best method to repair a lawn damaged by dog pee?

over the winter, it was easier to let our pup out to relieve herself right outside the door. Now that spring is here and the lawns are be coming green, the burned out areas are now very evident.

There is a new kind of grass called 'dog tuff' Supposedly hold up well under dog traffic, I would rake out the dead stuff & get plugs and dig them into the really bad places, Also when your dog pees water the area to dilute it.You won't catch all of them but it does help
Water well. It'll green up nicely due to the urine. No fertilizer is needed.
water it well to dilute the urine. put alayer of fresh soil in those areas and reseed it. You will have to keep the dog off it or it will continue to pee there.
If you still have the dog - go for Artificial Turf.
Sal and Janet are right. Water, water and more water. The grass will start coming back when the weather warms up.
