Use a cover- paint from a hardware store called KILZ , it is used to cover stains on paint .Works good on waterstains. Have used it on ceiling tiles and corners of walls.
Stain blocking primer like Kilz or BIN.
I agree with Stbowl46, use clorox and water.
Spray a matching color with a water bottle sprayer . Try to blend out past the actual stain. Good luck ! Darcie
First, remove the source of the water. Remember that water can travel long distances on a wooden board before settling and leaking through to cause the stain. Once you have taken care of the source, you can safely paint over the area or replace that area.
