In early 70's we made Christmas wreaths with them.
I agree, I see a beautiful wreath. You could also come up with a way to connect them and make a hanging decoration for outside or a garland.
Convert into jewelry, my grand daughter used 16oz bottle tops and made awesome ear rings with the larger ones she made beautiful brackets, she used small beads, small rhinestones on some she used threads especially metallic threads. They made beautiful gifts, your imagination is the limit with these rounds.
donate them to a public school art class
Not looking to get rid of them, I want to make them into something. Thank you though.
That's Funny, because I have a collection pf the O Rings too, as well as PopCan Tabs. And NO, the Trash isn't the answer. It's called recycling for a reason. LOL I thought of using them for the Center of a Granny Square.
Recycling them is the best use.
People make snowflakes and flowers out of cut up toilet paper rolls. Why not try that with these?
For the pop-tops from cans, take them to your nearest Ronald McDonald house, they recycle them to help offset expenses for the house, etc.
Use the larger rings to hang from a hanger and then hang another hanger on it, to increase closet space. If they are too weak for add a second one.
You can crochet around them and connect them together to make scarf or belt hangers.
a retro room divider curtain...like the old hippie beaded curtains
That would be great for a kid's room.

Thank you I might do it for a kitchen window but I'd really hesitate using them in a kids room. Strangulation would worry me. But thanks for the reply.
YW, I was thinking pre-teen or older, did you mention an age?
