Not sure what you are looking for here but if your mirror is unframed or you don't like the frame change it. You can paint the current frame, add to the current frame to make it bigger, or sand it and restain it. If you are wanting to do something to the mirror itself the cheapest option is to just apply a sticker. I have done this in my bathroom and to an antique mirror hanging in my livingroom, I purchased the stickers at the Dollar Tree. You could etch a design onto the mirror using an etching cream that can be purchased at places like Michaels, Hobby Lobby, or Joanns. You can glue on glass gems in a design or as a border. Plus you can use glass paints and make it look like stained glass. Let your imagination be your guide!
Hi KS, I have a mirror about the same size. My husband made a frame for it and I painted it. First black, let dry, then gold paint. When all is dry, knock some of the gold paint off with sand paper and let the black come thru. Looks nice. To make my bedroom appear bigger, I hung the mirror across from 2 windows. My husband helped again by hanging it for me as it is a bit heavy. He found a stud in the wall that will hold this weight. I hope this helps you.
Trim around it with Bling and artificial flowers or greenery... and maybe some tiny lights to go around it......Just let your imagination flow.... Good Luck
