Possibly ground cover, perennials to suit ypur zone and lighting conditions and maybe potted flowering annuals using brightly decorative planters for a pop of color.
Do you use the fire pit?
Here’s something a little different.. Depending on where you live you can have a truckload of beach sand brought in and spread around the area. You may want to trim out the edges with similar stones that you used to make your fire pit. Nothing like putting your toes in the sand. We actually had to buy many, many bags from Lowe’s (sandbox sand)
i would do some nice bushes around the perimeter( not right at fire pit) maybe add some flower beds. Add some different heights for visual interest. Put some rocks over the dirt around the pit. Create a nice seating area.
