You might just want to purchase some window film rather than paint your glass. it is very similar to clear contact paper but it comes in many designs and is meant to give more privacy and reduce light. It is available at Menards and online at Amazon.

Hello Diane. There are many brands of paint specifically for glass. A couple that come to mind are Krylon and Rustoleum. You can purchase it in a spray can and use it to frost the glass. If it is your preference, you can choose Matt finish, glossy or opaque. It’s entirely up to you. I recommend that you work from the Center of the glass and work outward m, then do the edges with a smaller brush. Good luck!

yes but I do not know what it is called and they have a plastic film that comes in about 10 different patterns, colors too that is opaque and might work.

there is also film you can apply that would make it frosted or add a scene..I put up a film that was pictures of clouds on a 9 light glass door to give privacy
