what exactly do you mean you need to something to it?????
Hi Sue. You could paint it and make a cushion for it.
Do you want to paint it? Take a wire brush to it to get all the flaky stuff off, and paint with paint for metal. You can probably use a spray paint; that wuld take several thin coats. Give us some more info it this is not helpful.
Hi Sue, if you paint it make sure and use steel paint such as Rustoleum so it will last!
Take off the old paint, apply acrylic paint or exterior spray paint. Make sure you take a steel wood pad and get off the old rust. Spray WD-40 and it’ll come easy as pie. Spray it down with the hose and give it color
Buy some pretty cushions, place them on the bench and sit on it.
These benches are so beautiful, I would sand off any rust and spray paint it which ever color I liked and then add a beautiful floral cushion.
Scrub it down with a heavy duty wire brush and then spray paint it your favorite color using Rustoleum paint for metal. Then add a pillow or two to go with the color you selected and just enjoy looking at it. These benches are indestructible!
