Clover is sooo hard to get rid of. Hand removal is the only way. sorry
Your soil needs conditioning. It needs more of some sort of fertilizer.. The clover is telling you this. Get a soil sample done before you go putting things on your lawn the soil doesn't need.
I have the same problem. The birds seeded my lawn with Bermuda grass many years ago. The Bermuda soon took over and we had a fantastic lawn. Lately I have noticed an abundance of clover. I thought Bermuda would overtake anything. I know all weeds and dandelions were gone. Birds again? I wish they would poop somewhere else.
