Sounds like your nails are not hitting the floor joists..... they also make a special screw that breaks off to put through floor into joists....

The boards may have just enough cup or warp they are rubbing against each other. What I do. I locate where the the noise is with my foot and mark with a piece of tape. The I pre drill 1/8" holes about an inch apart at an angle towards each other. Then I press down with my foot/knee and nail with 8 penny finish nails. Countersink the nails and fill Minwax Blend Fil pencil. The angle of the nails towards each other prevent the wood from moving.
Wood floors squeak because they expand and shrink with moisture and temperatures. A professional could come in and fix them by attaching the floor base to the top floor that you walk on. It would hinder the slight movement to allow for humidity and temperature changes though. The choice is up to you, but a professional could at least be consulted to see what he would charge and what he would recommend.
