What's the ceiling made of?
Hi Svolz, Is your bathroom exhaust fan strong enough to eliminate steam for the size of the bathroom you have? If so, is the fan cover free of dust? These are the most important two things to keep paint from peeling. In order to repair the peeling paint, scrape the ceiling to remove paint flakes. Then paint the ceiling with a mold-resistant paint made especially for bathrooms. Best of luck to you.
You could scrape off anything that is loose, then prime and repaint or you could plank the ceiling. Planking is very popular right now and is one way you never have to do it again.
Moisture is making it peel. Scrape the ceiling get all the paint off. Then paint with a primer for bathrooms and two coats of paint. Talk to someone at the store about the problem. Remember to run exhaust fan or open window or open the door a little. Good luck. Marie in ct
