I have ugly, yellow, broken and very uneven tile countertops

The tile countertops in my shared bathroom are yellow, ugly, broken and very uneven, I've looked at everything I can from tile stickers to just replacing it but since we just bought the house money is tight, how would I even begin to level it out with a hight difference of up to a half a centimeter in some places? Can I just replace the broken ones and even out the leveling issue?

By the time you buy the replacement tiles and the mortar and the grout, you've got money invested in a patch job that may not turn out well at all. Instead put a concrete finish over the tile. Here's one link:

Hi Veronicka, I don't think attempting to replace tiles out would solve the problem. I read Bijous comment and I agree with it. If you can't afford a new counter top right now, try looking on LetGo.com and E-Bay. Habitat for Humanity Restore is another excellent source. I hope this helps you. Best of luck in your new home.

Ask Landlord if they could be replaced? or cover MDF or timber with Contact or With Pre finished board - or Perspex (Plexiglass)

In our area of the country-Maryland-we have stores that have leftover project/remodel parts that include counter tops made of different materials from builders' supplies and redone homes. If you don't have access to something like this, maybe get ahold of a reputable contractor and ask if they know of anything you can use that they have taken out.
