You could make a quilt bu cutting the shirts into smaller pieces...and perhaps incorporating some of his ties

Yes, I would sew it to the inside of a fleese blanket, using 2 layers of fleese and tying together with knots. When you cover up with the blanket, the shirt facing you ,it's like your dad hugging you. This would be a nice gift for mom as well. There are never ending ideas of who can be hugging who forever 💕

How about a rag rug? Cut up squares of the shirt and join in rows back with filling and fabric . A cosy reminder that can be used on armchair or bed. Plenty of patterns for additional ideas around and it would last for years!
