Give a hair dryer a try. Get it hot enough and scrape. Also, acetone will soften plastics...might want to try that. Itās flammable and has a lot of fumes. Best to use it outside. Buy at hardware store...higher strength than nail polish remover.

Yes, hair dryer. Heat up the plastic and scrape.
Use the hair dryer on high heat and use a scraper to get it off when it warms up enough and you should be able to get it off. The metal does need to be pretty warm to loosen it the best.
