I have a small Hill in my back yard, need direction😀
Hill is small but I have no real idea what to put on it. Also where would I find a couple of young people to assist me? I'm having some trouble with my back.
Look into Xeriscaping, but with an asthmatic husband choose your plants carefully. My brother wanted a lawn in the back for the dogs, so they hired someone to come in and do the bulk of the yard work for them for this very reason. He also has severe allergies and has since he was a baby. I have lost count of how many times we would have to leave a place because he couldn't breathe. See if these sites provide you any ideas.

If the yard is small, why not make a tiered patio leaving just a little bit of grass for some green area.
smother out the grass with newspaper, cardboard and black plastically heavy landscape fabric downwind make a patio with stepping stones. Then add a comfortable seating area ,include outdoor lighting

This is expensive but your husband is priceless, right? How about having grass removed and a tiered patio built with different areas to be used for seating and cooking out and a waterfall or water feature for interest and forego plants and grass all together. Maybe add a place for a bird bath and different feeders for different birds that you can watch and still enjoy yard but use objects instead of plants.
