white vinegar and water 50/50 a dab of blue dawn and a dab of jet dry
Vinegar let it soak and wipe it off. If it's really thick, it might take a couple of times. Our well water leaves a thick coat on our windows when we water and vinegar is the only thing that will take it off.
Try washing your windows again with vinegar, a dash of Dawn and warm water. Do not wash windows in the sun.
you have to use an acidic formula. Our state has outlawed the sale of the best one. Call a janitorial supply in your town and see what they have

Cerama Bryte cleaner is what I used to get rid of the hard water stains on my glass shower doors.
First, take an equal amount of vinegar and water and mix them together in a spray bottle. White distilled vinegar will work best for this. Then, spray the solution on your windows and let it sit for around two to three minutes. Lastly, use a gentle cloth to wipe away the cleaning solution and avoid any streaks.
