Half the mustache fell off my 3’ nutcracker. How can I repair it? Nutcracker is made of some type of fibrous material, not plastic, not wood.
Cover completely with sticky masking tape before smashing, hopefully this will keep the glass from going all over the place.
Use a Knife that is flat blade........
don't break it -- takes patience, but use a pop sickle stick or a tongue depressor, turn the piggy on it's side and work the coins out .... will take time, but if you want to keep it .... the more you get out, the easier it will be -- then towards the end, turn the piggy upside down and work the coins out; Try wrapping the end of the stick with duct tape placed so the sticky side is 'out' ...
I use a butter knife carefully slide the blade portion in and back and forth till coins start to slip out it takes time and effort good luck
Slip something thin in the cash opening to work the coins out.
if you look at the bottom of the bank there might be an opening that is plugged with a rubber stopper that you just pull out and there you retrieve the coins from the bank.
If there's not a cork on the bottom, use a kitchen knife in the slot and shake the bank and some of the coins will align up parallel with the knife blade, pull the blade out slowly and a coin or two will come out. Repeat this procedure until you remove all the coins. Tedious but worth it! :)
Any small flat blade to get the coins to line up and come out of the slot, then give the glass piggy bank away.
