I use straight vinegar in a spray bottle. If it is on a hard surface that it won't hurt, spray it on and leave it for a minute or two, then wipe it off. If it is in a carpet or fabric, check an inconspicuous spot to make sure it won't alter the color or texture. Saturate the spots and let them dry. Do the sniff test when you no longer smell the vinegar. You may need to do it more than once, cat urine is tough to get rid of the smell. I hope this helps. Vinegar is much cheaper than the enzyme treatments and works just as well, it will also get rid of any germs that go with it.
