Are you asking about a patio umbrella stand, or a brace to attach the pole to the wall to prevent it from tipping over in the wind when it is fully extended?
I need a stand and I guess I will have to buy one, but most cost $30 up. I am VERY thrifty.
You could try an ice cream pail full of stand, but it won't be stable in the wind
