What plants attract bees?

I’d like to bring more bees/ butterflies to my yard. Looking to plant some new items that will help them flourish. I’m in Pennsylvania.

    Bee's love Bee Balm, and cone flowers. You could also plant some sunflowers.

    Butterfly bush, Bee Balm. For bees really anything that blooms will bring them in.

    Check with a LOCAL nursery... they will know what plants bees love in YOUR area... and those that do well in your area.

    Any bright colored flowers. Ones that I can think of are zinnias and cosmos. Right now, the bees are enjoying the blossoms on the cherry tree and the azaleas.

    There are garden plans on the better homes and gardens Web site....is geared to zone 5, there you should find a butterfly garden and a plant list.

    Check with your local nursery and see if "Butterfly Plants" will grow in your planting zone!

    Scents of lavender draw the bees, and as many others have said the Butterfly bush will attract them as well as butterflies.

    Contact your local nursery for flowers that produce lots of pollen and have simple easy access to it, that's what the bees are after.
