Since the wiring is thirty years old and has been folded you won't know what condition it is in. If this were my find I would toss it and not take any chances
Electric blankets, especially the old ones are notorious for causing fires. If it were mine and I used it, I would NOT plug it in. My sister's daughter had a fire in the middle of the night with hers.

you should use a footie blanket fleece as it uses your body heat to get warm i threw mine away the electric blanket as there not safe after a while
