You can use vinegar and baking soda for a natural ingredient alternative:

I use Weiman Cooktop Daily Cleaner--a spray that you wipe off with paper towels (like window cleaner) and I use Weiman Heavy Duty Glasstop Cleaner once every few weeks or as needed. A cleaner that you wipe on and let dry and then wipe off--almost like a car wax. You can use a super fine kitchen scrubber with it to get some of the tough stuff off--like egg spots or sugar spots. I buy it at Target or Walmart. I have seen it at Menards and Home Depot.
I also use the Weiman cleaner, but for the tough stuff I use a razor blade in a scraper designed for glass. It takes up the cooked on grease spots like a dream.
No no no never use anything like sharp metal on a glass top you will end up with very fine scratches all over it.I use washing up liquid and hand hot water using a cloth with this will remove even the most hard backed on spills with a little bit effort.
Scotchbrite cook top cleaner works great
I use the Weiman stuff too. Spread it on let it dry and it'll come off with a paper towel. If something is really tough a little elbow grease on the paper towel may be required, or I just do it again. Usually I squirt some on use my finger to spread it where needed and let it dry while doing the dishes and wipe down cabinets, then clean it off and kitchen is done.
I let water soak on it and try getting it off later with a paper towel. If it’s stubborn, Ceramabryte or other glass/ceramic cleaner will take it off. at any hardware section or store. Do NOT use anything sgharp or even those scrubber sponges..they will all scratch.
A razor blade... gets all the brown off.
I hate these cooktops, but since I have one, I use a wet Nano towel followed by a dry as soon as anything spills. Also used liquid paint stripper on an old one with bad scorch marks.
