we bought plastic borders from Home Depot they are black but come in green and white as well- not expensive, easy to cut and really helps to keep your garden looking nice- also stones or bricks you may find someone willing to get rid of these items if you just haul them off

One of my gardens is bordered with rocks. Free for the picking!
We used rocks too, large-ish ones... we put the bendable plastic border behind them to help keep the soil and water from draining between them... and think about using a landscape fabric under them to stop weeds from growing up between them... hard to weed whack there.
