Does it attach to the lamp with a finial or a collar that sits below the lightbulb (the photo does not show). ?
You will also need to measure properly and have the exact measurements with you when searching for an replacement.

I'm old, too, so I was tempted to be a smart-mouth and answer, "1972" .......the year I fell in love with those shades. I see one, occasionally, at Goodwill stores.
I would definitely try Homesense or always try thrift stores you never know!!!

Thank you so much!
You could try at Ollies or Big Lots. They both have good selections at reasonable prices.
A lighting store is your best bet. However, you'll see them from time to time in stores like Homes Goods and Target too.
There are several different ways that a lampshade can attach to a lamp.
The lampshade does not look that old to me. Decades ago, shades were made from fabric only. Newer shades usually have a plasticized coating on the inside of the shade. This does gets brittle and discolored from exposure to heat. If your pleats are stiff, but are not disintegrating, then they most likely are not solid fabric.
Go to Wayfair web site. Huge inventory.
