I use tero the ants take it back to the nest to wipe out the nest, But I had a lady I worked for always use Lysol spray disinfectant, which I would spray around on the counters.

Vinegar /water spray entry ways but do not use on granite counters.
A few applications around your doors and windows should keep them out.
mix sugar and borax. Place in lids around where ants are. Same ingredients as Terri. Takes a few days.
