Most of the over the door shoe racks can just be screwed into the wall behind your clothes. Actually, Id get a 3” by 1” x 8 foot board at lowes, cut to the length of the shoe bacg and use a heavy duty stapler to attach this reinforcing board to the back. Then you only need to drill two holes into your wall for each and they’ll hang flat even fully loaded with shoes.
Be sure to get clear a vinyl bag and check the size of the pockets. Some are smaller than others, which is fine if you’re a size 6.
Shoes and boots stay in the breezeway...cinder block and boards catch the boots and shoes. The cats have yet to knock it over.
