How to remove a chimney insert that the chimney sweep placed incorrect
A family member sent his chimney sweep to my place, who said that I'd need an insert of some sort, before I used my fireplace. I wanted to get a second opinion, bity family member insisted this sweep was reliable, and as my Christmas present, paid for the work. Since the insert has been placed, smoke backs up, into my home, when I try to use the fireplace, and the chimney sweep is nowhere to be found. I don't want to call anyone else. If I get up on my roof, what kind of tools do I need to extract the insert? Thank you, in advance, for your help.
