Plumeria, milkweed, lantana. There are more, can't think at the moment.
There are so many ideas, it's impossible to get into it here. Depending on where in FL you are, the choices also vary. Go to a local nursery and do some shopping. If they don't label their plants "full sun", "part shade", etc., then ASK. Also decided if you want annuals or not. Annuals have showy flowers once a season. Perennials flower a good length of their season. And remember things like Oleander can grow HUGE and are toxic if eaten. A little Q and A will go a long way. Cheers!
