This looks like a "bent wood" chair. by its styling. Sorry, don't know mfg.
It’s definitely not a bentwood chair. Can you look on the bottom of the chair and see if there is any info on manufacturer?
You can post a "wanted" on ebay. That may bring you closer to someone looking to sell a chair like yours. I think I would also take the picture to an upscale furniture store. It is likely that some one will recognize it's pedigree and point you in the right direction.
