Is Creeping Charlie in your lawn a good thing or a bad thing?
Is there a sure-fire way to get rid of Creeping Charley?
I use cayenne pepper powder and shredded Irish Spring soap with pretty good results. If he is persistent, I bait mouse traps with peanut butter and put them in the worst spots. I have never caught one, but the snap scares the bejesus out of them and they stay away for a while. I have a spot in my front yard under my hostas that I leave treats for my chipmunks, stale bread, cookies, cake, cereal, granola, nuts, etc. and this keeps him happy. He takes the treats home and I have a fat happy chipmunk that doesn't bother anything unless I forget to give him treats every day or two. He sits and chitters at me or hubby from his treat spot if he wants more.
I'd appreciate an answer to this question also. Be careful in the winter, my daughter used to park her car outside, little critters made their nest on the car's engine.
