Easy! Vinegar. Vinegar kills mold spores, bleach does not.

You would be better off taking the molding off so that you can make sure the mold is all taken care of. Are you sure there is none under the carpet? Bleach will clean up the mold, but not eliminate it. Vinegar will kill the mold spores if it can reach where it all is. Check anyway to make sure that the vinegar will not alter the color or texture just in case it does siphon onto the carpet a little.
