I mix borax and sugar and place it where they are coming in the house. Peppermint will repel them but not get rid of them.
Thank you!
mix Borax with sugar and water to make a runny paste and place on paper plates where you see them (2 parts borax : 1 part sugar). They will eat it and take it back to nest. you may have a make new mix if it hardens - just throw plate away for easy clean up. You’ll be ant free in no time!
If you can find there path outside, or even there mound, sprinkle it with sweetened cornbread mix. They take it into the nest and all eat it and die. If you still see ants, try again and search your yard for other mounds.
