Just did kitchen makeover with wood floors, granite tops, New backsplash and stainless appliances. I want to change my fairly new white microwave to stainless to save from buying a new one. I want to match my new stainless appliances. Is it possible? See pics. TY ps. I also want to update my kitchen cabinets any ideas?

Use the "stainless look" adhesive Contact paper. First use a good de-greasing product to clean the microwave, make your patterns for each surface out of paper, cut out, peel and apply. Use a plastic card to push out any bubbles (like wallpaper). If you can't get a bubble out, pierce it with a fine needle and push the air out through the pin hole. This will take time but it will give you the stainless look you want.

You'd be better served to paint it black like your stove top than attempt a stainless steel look. As for your cabinets, spray paint your pulls in black. Use 3 thin coats of black, then a spray layer of clear coat. Your kitchen is lovely. Good luck.

I had heard of liquid stainless steel but had not seen a before and after until today. A link attached to get you started. Not sure if shine will match well enough with stove. But instructions are very detailed. See if you can locate a product with more gloss Hope this helps

with a lot of patient taping, you can indeed spray paint the microwave “stainless steel” just be sure the controls are well masked.

As to your cabinets, RUSTOLEUM Cabinet Transformation is my go to products. Easy, no stripping, no sanding, and, wide variety of custom mixed colors and.glazes.

Paul Baldassari Behr Marquee wouldn't be my choice for cabinets. I would use a high-adhesion primer then cover with a good paint. 2-in-1 paints are okay for walls, but they are no substitute for a high-adhesion primer and paint. They tend to scratch more easily. If you don't mind adding a clear protective top coat, then you probably could get away with it. The Behr website recommends PREMIUM PLUS ULTRA® Interior for cabinets,

You’ll have to spray paint a frame around the glass on the door. The white that’s there

now will show up like a sore thump. As for you cupboard s I love them. Maybe you could pull a color from you counter tops. I think I see yellow. Maybe just a stripe or stencil. Your cupboards are nice. Someone suggested black hardware and I agree. And just for the heck of it I would have yellow curtains. Lol

Some of the appliance wraps companies, sell a clear black plastic for panels and windows. That would take care of your white door.
