What are good plants to place in front of boxwoods?
I have a row of boxwoods in front of my porch. I want to add color, but don't know what would work best. I live in Southeast Texas (Zone 8 or 9). Any suggestions?
Try a little bit of Dawn dish detergent mixed with water and a couple tsp of hot sauce. Mix together and spray under and over leaves and plant. Do this in the evening when the sun has gone down. You will have to re-spray if it rains. If you don’t have hot sauce you can use red pepper flakes, shake really well and let it sit over nite, it helps if you use warm water. Strain into a spray bottle so the pepper flakes won’t clog the sprayer.
