There are some fun ways to decorate glass: 1) is to make faux sea glass. Add coloring to Mod Podge and use it to paint any glass such as candle holders, small vases, small clear dishes etc. Let it dry and it will appear to be sea glass. Some people glue clear glass together like a candle holder holding a small clear dish, then make faux sea glass on it. 2) another way is to use plain white dishes, vases, cups. Put a few drops of left over finger nail polish in a container of water ( I use disposable plastic ware for this). Roll the glass vase in the water slowly and it will adhere to the vase or cup or whatever you use. Let it set on newspaper or paper towel to dry. If you use several colors at once, it gives a marbling effect.
I found these on Pinterest. Maybe these will help you get some ideas. Happy Crafting 😊

I like to use alcohol ink on glass and tiles. You don't have to be an artist, and they are not expensive. You can also make your own.
Go on eBay you could get kits for stockings or they have kits for stained glass effect it comes nice I did it on vases
You can use permanent markers and do your own design on the outside of glass bottles. Then punch holes in cardstock(whatever color you want) and insert them in to the glass containers. Put in a led candle or tea light ( found at Dollar store or order from Amazon) . The cardstock allows you to see what you have drawn on the outside, and the holes allow the light to shine through. Very inexpensive, but can even be used as a gift. Very cute.
