I think dollar store batteries work fine. I usually buy these for my kids to use in everything they use batteries in. They seem to last them a while and they’re aren’t expensive! Awesome for a family on a tight budget.
I use then all the time too. One I got a package of c batteries must have been old and dead but that is the only time. They do accept returns at the store.
NO,NO,NO. NOW YOU ONLY GET THREE IN A PKG,(AA,AAA,C) SPEND YOUR MONEY ON ''GOOD BATTERIES'' ALSO USE YOUR COUPONS.
It depends. Duracell are better. If you use Duracell and they leak, Duracell will cover the loss. I don't think it matters for toys, etc, but it matters a lot for expensive tools
If they are the same batteries, it does not matter where you buy them. If you meant to ask if the brand names are of the same capacity as the no-name batteries, there is no way to tell. I have bought Chinese made no-name batteriess and they clearly were not what was printed on the label. They were a cheat. Doesn't mean they all are. Your question asks for a simple answer and there is none. I could not even tell you if Rayovac is as good as Duracell. The answer is "depends".
