do you know how old the drain is? It sounds like it’s past it’s prime or not done properly.

I would chat with a company that installs them, see what they suggest..
I had to clean mine out about a year ago, but I was the one that installed them. Just took the covers off and washed out all the gunk that was in there. A gardener or plumber can help you out. If you have a bumpy yard, inspect for ant hills, bees, gophers, moles and voles. If you have them, then treat for them. If just bumpy from neglect, I would kill it off, rototill, regrade and start over. Can be done in phases as budget allows.
