I used E6000 for lights I made last year, and they stayed out all winter and all remain adhered.
I agree with E6000! If you buy it on Amazon, it comes in smaller tubes. I like to buy those because if the lid gets glued on, you don't lose so much. It might seem more expensive, but it's actually a better deal because you can actually use almost all of it.
