hi! Are these outdoor plants? I would dig all the weeds and lay down landscaping fabric, then a thick layer of mulch.
pull them, smother them out with newspaper, cardboard, heavy landscape fabric and top with mulch
You can always spray them but them the spray could transfer to your plants and kill them. I always find the best way is to pull the weeds up by the roots, then take newspaper and lay it down in thick layers, wet it well, then put your mulch over that. It works for me.
If they are outside plants preem works .sprinkle between your plants will not harm flowers . then put your newspapers or fabric down .Good luck .
The Preen granules work great from a shaker box.
