Build a garage, a barn, a storage shed like a lean to shed along the back or side wall, turn the attic into storage. Use under the bed.
Before you make permanent physical improvements make sure your house doesn't require special permissions from your town or historical commission due to its age. Better safe than sorry!
Easy! Purchase a shorter, 20 footer shipping container, paint to match and there you have it. 8 x 20 is a lot of storage space. Check your area, the smaller are generally not more than a smidge over a grand.
