Yes, you will need to use a bonding agent to the existing concrete. Follow the directions on the bonding agent exactly and you should have very nice results. Good luck.
Do you mean use the molds as a form or do you mean use the molds as part of the concrete?
I use a cleaner with bleach. Spray and let sit about 5 mins. Using an old broom scrubbing the cocrecte and the spray all of it off should do the trick. Hope this helps.
