What can I do to a small space between my garage and house?(walkway)
this space is like 4 foot wide and about 6 foot long. This space is also the walk through from the front of the house to the back of the house.

Decide where you want the walk and just remove the rocks there. Dig down about five inches. Level the ground. Put in a layer of sand and level it. Then put your bricks atop that. I would keep the rest of the rocks. Our front yard is all rocks except for two large flower beds. Once a year we have to get rid of weeds, but other than that it requires no maintenance. Every person who visits loves it. And NO mowing.

Be aware, depending on the climate you live in, that brick can get VERY ICY in the winter, won't offer as sure of footing as rock.
I did this to my walkway in Houston. It was painstaking work, but on hands and knees I literally picked up all the rocks and moved them. When done I leveled and graded the walkway area, added some builder’s sand, laid pavers and then filled in around them with more builder’s sand and packed it down. Worked well!
How did you level it so that the bricks lay completely flat?
