    Recipe on Creeklinehouse.com: 1 CUP Sugar, 1/2 CUP Water, 1 TBSP.Borax

(hint: the new box for Borax says this--BORAX LAUNDRY BOOSTER)

**Mix this up in a canning jar with a lid and save what's left.

Put this in an old plastic container with holes poked in the lid, where your ants are.

I have now moved but my previous house was inundated with small ants every June under the kitchen sink. Some would come out under the cabinet doors onto the kitchen floor. I simply went to the dollar store and bought ant traps ($2) and put two or three under the kitchen sink. After a few days, I barely saw any and after a week, they were all gone until the following June!

I hake a mix of equal amounts of sugar and Borax. I pour the mixture where I see the ants coming in. It takes a couple of days but the ants are gone.

Cornmeal has worked for me as well as the borax and powdered sugar. Also find out where they are coming in and put some clear or white caulk in there to block their entrance, if there are large holes under your sink or behind any appliances you may need to use the spray foam.

We all know they originate outside. Mix much cornmeal and some borax and lay a very fine trail around exterior foundation. They love corneal, and especially Jiffy cornbread mix.

I wiped with lots of stuff, but husband “cleaned” the counters with granite cleaner a couple of times and we’ve not seen an ant since

The best ant killer I have ever used

    1/2 cup hot water

    1 cup sugar

    1 TBSP Borax

    Mix together

Place cotton balls in bottle caps and saturate with mixture. Place in ant trails. They will be gone in a few days.

If you do not have pets just use the type that allows the ants to feed on a delicious but deadly ant killer that works by the ant eating the product, then taking back to the nest. Some of these products have a toxin in them, so will contaminate entire ant hills. If you see an ant during the process, let it live so it can do the work of the traps.
