Hi Susan, I found a product that works very well. It's called Oxi Clean Max Force. I use an old toothbrush to scrub it into the grout. Let it set 15 - 20 minutes. Then wipe away with a clean damp cloth. Worked well for me. Best of luck to you.
If you can’t get it clean, try some Aquamix grout dye, it comes in a variety of colors.. Takes time and patience to put it on, but well worth it.
A steam grout cleaner will do the job easy and fast and you can find other uses for the steamer when it comes to cleaning things around the house.
I have tried all these vinegar and bicarb and all the bathroom sprays. And for me I use domestos with a toothbrush and brush it on and leave it for 30 and rinse it all off again. It works perfect, no more stains or mould.
We have awful grout in our kitchen and toilet bowl cleaner with bleach in it seems to work the best. Just speed it on there, let it sit for a minute and rub it off.
It is a concentrated bleach cleaner.
