For more blooms you might want to nip back the runners so that the energy goes into the leaves and blooms.
Hi Penne, Yes, cut those runners down. Cutting them back will give the Morning Glory more strength to grow bushy and full with more blossoms. Then make a solution of one tablespoon Epson Salt dissolved in a gallon of water. Pour it on the soil at the base of both Morning Glory's. Then give them extra water. The extra water will help the roots receive the E Salt. This process will put enzymes into the soil and plants flourish with it. You can repeat every two weeks. Best of luck to you and your Morning Glory's.
Hi Penne, Yes, go ahead a put that solution on your lavender Morning Glory too. You can use it on all your plants. I use it in my vegetable garden. Good luck.
Thanks so much. So appreciate your advise. I already cut down all those
long runners, and need to go get the epson saltz today and will do that as well. Will let you know how it works. Glad to know it is safe for all plants. Don't know about my pulmerias tho.
