Question about special window screens

I had a friend in Baltimore that had these screens in her windows. You Could NOT see in, but we could see out when we were in her house. They were VERY popular in row homes in Baltimore. Can’t anyone find out how they are painted or where they can be purchased??

They may be called Day/night Shades...check with Blinds Chalet 888 633-7840. Hope this helps...several colors
Is it screen as in window screen? or a metal screening over the glass or a window film on the glass? or blinds?

Try mosquitoscreens.com. I ordered some bay door screens for work from them; you can see out but no one can see in. They sell more than just mosquito screens.
