You have 4 different stone colors, I prefer the tan one just the way it is.
tall candle or tall flowers. If you mean how to finish the stone - polish it, or paint with polyurethane, perhaps.
off the wall, but tombstones at Halloween?
As they are chipboard (at least it looks like it) If you put them in the garden use yacht varnish as the wet weather will just make the wood swell.
I would paint them as surf boards, hang them on the wall in the bathroom and place towels on the shelf part. Or you could put a mirror on the middle one and place in the middle.
Or.. make into a bench, difficult to see what size they are, but if big enough for bums, place together, use pallet wood or something to make into a bench for your home or garden.
You could turn them upside down and have a shelf on the top and add more shelves.
Or invert them and hang something from the shelf area.
Small plant, beads, photos....
They look to be quite large. Fabulous find! I would use them in my garden. You can affix 1 or more by your front door and put flowers on them. I'd seal them first. You can get stone and marble sealer at a hardware store.
Depending on your house number, maybe paint or stain to complement your house, put raised numbers on the up-right part and put small pots with plants on the shelf part.
These stones are gorgeous! And several people have made great suggestions. I would seal the stones and glue on wooded appliques (Hobby Lobby, Lowe's, Home Depot) after you have applied varnish to seal natural wood color or painted them to match your decor. Put copper pots (as previously suggested) with trailing plants, or maybe glass bowls for floating candles. It would be beautiful hung on the wall in your formal dining room. You could switch out objects on the shelf with seasonal decor or in keeping with your dinner party theme celebrating special occasions.
Just in time for July 4th: paint the long vertical part in red and white stripes, the horizontal with blue and glue hobby store white stars on. Put a red, white and blue ribbon across the top and voila, holiday dรฉcor.
