Is the brick inside or outside?

Interior wise—We had a sloppy wall paint job left by a previous homeowner on our brick fireplace edge next to the wall. I found it easiest just to touch up the natural brick colors with matching acrylic craft paints.

If that is not your situation you may want to consider this link attached below, it may have more suitable suggestions.

Thanks. My problem is exterior. I got what I paid for, thinking I would give my kids a way to earn some extra cash. I will look at the Bob Vila article.

I'm not sure if this will work with latex but try Simple Green - spray and spray again, let it sit for about 15 minutes then scrub off with a small brush or even an old tooth brush. I use this spray to remove acrylic and chalk paint and it works amazing.

We used a pressure washer with the small nozzle and Simple Green with a steel brush. It worked! This problem was outside facade and now we need

to repair mortar but that will be easy compared to getting the paint off. Thanks again!
