Murphy Beds are great and custom wall couches that make great reading nooks during the day but can also be used for sleeping options at night.
Murphy bed if you have the wall space. They can get expensive so building your own might be a necessity. Also a day/trundle bed would be a good option.
Trying adding a lovely daybed that doubles up as a couch. Anything that serves a dual purpose is perfect for a multi purpose room like you're planning
Include a folding sofa bed and chairs that convert to beds
If you need a place for them to sleep maybe a Murphy Bed will help and you can fold it out of the way when the room is not guested.
a murphy bed is great! also, a day bed, as you can use it as a couch, sitting place when not used as a bed
Build a murphy bed into one wall of the room. You can purchase the mechanisms online. Attached is a picture of one of the coolest ones I've ever seen.
Two solutions I would consider thinking about would be a sleeper sofa or a Murphy bed.
